Barnett Institute Annual Science Retreat
September 10, 2004
Raytheon Auditorium,, Egan Research Center
Graduate Student Z. Yang

As in past years, the Barnett Institute sponsored a Retreat that brings all of the Institute research groups together to review their current scientific goals and results. The September 2004 retreat was again a very informative session, with active discussion during the buffet luncheon.

Dr. Karger opened the 2004 Science Retreat with a welcoming address, followed by Dr. Michael Sitkovsky's presentation "Cross-Talk between New England Inflammation and Tissue Protection Institute and Barnett Institute in Mugar and Beyond".

After Prof. Sitkovsky's lecture, all research groups presented their research work. Each Faculty Fellow gave a research overview, followed with detailed presentations by members of the research group
